Terms of Service

Last updated: March 1, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating a Gyggle account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Compliance & Acceptable Use policy, which forms part of them.

2. The service

Gyggle coordinates the encryption, sharding, and placement of your files across third-party storage accounts that you own and control. File content is processed on your device; Gyggle's servers store only metadata needed to coordinate placement.

3. Your accounts

You must own or have lawful control of every storage account you link. You are responsible for complying with each provider's terms, including Google's Terms of Service.

4. Passphrases and keys

Gyggle never receives your passphrase or keys and cannot recover them. Loss of your passphrase and Recovery Kit means permanent loss of access to encrypted data.

5. Plans and billing

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Upgrades are prorated; downgrades apply at the next cycle. Refunds are available within 30 days of a charge.

6. Account deletion

You may delete your Gyggle account at any time from Profile settings. Manifests and metadata are erased. Shards in your Google accounts remain — you'll need to delete them manually.

7. Limitation of liability

Gyggle is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gyggle Labs, Inc. is not liable for data loss resulting from third-party account suspension, lost passphrases, or provider outages.

8. Changes

We'll notify you by email at least 30 days before material changes to these Terms take effect.
